The solar vehicle team has been consistently working together to fulfill our vision of designing, constructing and competing internationally in a solar powered vehicle. This project is an exciting opportunity that has tapped into the innovative and creative potential of both UOIT and Durham College students bringing our academic and technical education to life in the shop and on the racetrack.
Building a vehicle that will green the automotive industry requires a large commitment of time and financial resources. As students, we have found time between classes and summer jobs to develop the solar vehicle but we need your support to help fund the expensive and unique technology that is needed to build a high performance vehicle that can compete in the 2009 World Solar Challenge in Australia.
A gift of $50 will purchase one of the 402 solar cells that are needed to power our vehicle. Gifts of any amount are appreciated and will receive a tax receipt
